The Tata Altroz was launched in India on 22 January, 2020. It gets three engine options: 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (86PS/113Nm), 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/140Nm), and 1.5-litre diesel (90PS/200Nm). A 5-speed manual is standard, while the naturally aspirated petrol unit also gets an optional 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA). A five-speed manual unit is standard while a DCA transmission is available only with the 1.2 NA motor. The Tata Altroz is available in six variants including XE, XE+, XM+, XT, XZ, and XZ+. However, the Altroz Dark Edition is limited to select trims. The Tata Altroz has a seating capacity of five occupants. The Tata Altroz is offered in seven colors such as Cosmo Dark, Harbour Blue, Downtown Red, Opera Blue, Arcade Grey, Avenue White, High Street Gold. The Altroz is priced from Rs 6.20 lakh to Rs 10.15 lakh.
